Dalaro
Gateshead based Dalaro are a band who spend hours on end trying to find the perfect indie pop/rock sound. Combining larger than life lyrics with rhythmically heavy music they are willing to try out their own unique brand of heart tugging melodies anywhere
Dalaro’s distinctive sound is drawn from a combination of different musical influences such as The Who, Kings of Leon, The Beatles, Blur, The Verve and U2 but, there is musical input from as far afield as Swedish House Mafia. The band have twice supported local heavy weights Vinyl Jacket and have also been lucky enough to grace a stage with Ambershift.
Yesterdays Kids
Yesterday’s Kids is a newly formed indie/alt band influenced by early rock, Britpop and indie music. They take influences from scenes and genres ranging from mod to early rock. Bands like Oasis, The Who and The Stooges have heavy influences, also modern indie bands like The Kooks and One Night Only influence some of their songs and style. They are a 5 piece band from the North East.
