Oxjam Craft Market
As part of the Oxjam Newcastle Takeover festival, come down to the wonderful Ouseburn Farm on Sunday 21st October and treat yourself to something special from the fantastic range of unique, hand made goodies from great local crafts stalls.
Entry is free, and the market will run from 10am – 4pm as part of the Oxam Takeover Festival. We recommend going outside to meet the adorable bunnies, piglets and chickens on the farm too!

The Woolly Pedlar
The Wooly Pedlar upcycles knitwear into quality clothes, accessories and soft furnishings, which include my best sellers, the ever so popular armwarmers. Other products include unique hooded jumpers and coats, laptop covers and bespoke cushions and bedspreads. These are sold both off the shelf and made to order to match customers’ colour schemes.
Claire Louise Greetings Cards
Claire Louise Hill is a local fashion textiles designer, her illustrative designs have since been put onto ranges of greetings cards and open edition prints. Using a mixed media of watercolour, fabrics and machine embroidery. Many hours are spent creating unique designs. Claire’s work can be found throughout the UK in various shops, garden centres, department stores and are exported worldwide.
Lydia makes handmade etchings (an old and surprisingly dangerous printing method) and little comics and books for grown-ups. Oh, and some more sensible ink drawings and knitted items too!
